Resilience Workshop Power Rhythms for Programme Octave

In March 2026, I ran 5 corporate resilience workshops Power Rhythms across 3 days at Programme Octave — a leadership conference organized by Danone, L’Oréal, and other partner companies, bringing together participants from 50+ countries.

Octave’s official tagline is “Any major transformation begins with a self-transformation” — and that’s exactly the gap my Power Rhythms resilience workshop was built to address. Companies invest heavily in transforming teams, cultures, and processes, but the people inside those systems? They are rarely taught how their own biology works, or how to work with it rather than push through it.

What we did in the resilience workshop Power Rhythms

Power Rhythms is built around one idea:

Focus, energy, and decision-making aren’t flat — they move in biological rhythms, and most of us are never taught what those rhythms are or how to use them.

The session covered three of these rhythms, in the order they show up across a working day:

  • Circadian rhythm — getting natural light before screen light in the morning, to anchor the body’s 24-hour clock and set up energy for the rest of the day.
  • Ultradian rhythm — working in roughly 90-minute cycles, with a deliberate movement or restorative break at the end of each one, rather than pushing straight through meetings.
  • Respiratory rhythm — slowing the breath as a direct, in-the-moment lever for shifting out of a stressed or scattered state.

Practicing what I preach: each of the 3 mornings, before the first session of the day, I was out in the hotel gardens catching natural light before any screen light. Progressively more tired-eyed as the days went on, but a good reminder that this isn’t just theory I hand out to a room. 😉

This format lands particularly well at leadership conferences and offsites, where people are used to running on willpower through back-to-back sessions — and where a few concrete, science-backed tools can shift how they get through the rest of the day, not just the room.

What Danone VP Anne Thevenet-Abitbol said afterwards:

“Warning: attending one of Charlotte’s workshops can be truly life-changing. Suddenly, you find yourself looking out the window more often, getting up every 90 minutes during meetings, taking short restorative breaks, and realizing that our ultradian rhythm matters just as much as our circadian rhythm. Power Rhythms is packed with powerful insights!”

A bit about my breathwork and nervous system work

I’m a breathwork and nervous system coach based in Lisbon. My work is grounded in the physiology of breathing and nervous system regulation — translated into something practical and immediately usable for people with busy, demanding lives.

Most of what I do falls into three areas.

I shape sessions around what the team actually needs: purely experiential like this workshop for Data Tech Fund, or more structured around science and tools, depending on the context.

If you’re planning a training, offsite or a team day, you can browse my workshops offering or get in touch.
